A little about me: I'm a mom of two teenage boys 13 & 15, I'm 33 I have an online fashion boutique, I once was selling products on the amazon platform but stopped for the moment (I plan to get back to it).

Here in Charleston we have a number of "boutique" property management companies that primarily focus on short term/vacation rentals.

I like "management" or professional "Hosts" that are almost more like my tenants that know how to run their own boutique hospitality business rather than managers that focus on managing as many properties as they can with less regard about the quality of the property and experience being created for guests.There are all different types of markets, all different types of properties, and all different types of guests so lots of different strategies work.

thats where we thrive. we are very much a small operator giving more a of a "boutique hotel" experience. 

I know some have training programs etc but is there a huge advantage working for CBRE or Marcus & Millichap vs a successful boutique focusing its effort on a specific prop type in only a few cities?

So many unique high-end boutiques and fancy restaurants would make you think you are in California.All of this for a fraction of a cost compared to a city like SF.

I also have a boutique property management and a project management business which I built from scratch.  

It would still have to be segregated to get every advantage.I'm a partner with a boutique cost segregation firm this is a common misunderstanding.

Additionally, I am building a boutique hotel that should open in Spring of 2021.
