For me, I was so used to working in a Podio workspace that I ended up back to one and customized it exactly the way i wanted for workflows, automation, deal tracking, followups, etc. 

Although Podio has a ton of customizability, we took feedback from our customers and made a simplified user friendly sales crm on our own platform to capture leads from all your marketing channels, and make it super easy to manage manual and automated follow ups with those leads.

Investment banks, personal wealth advisors and so and so on are essentially brokers that have flourished even as the market has accommodated automation in the low end.

Recommend keeping your W2 job for as long as possible while building your PMC business.Typically, one needs 75-125 properties under management to actually make a living.This approach will also force you to automate your PMC business and maybe even hire a Remote Worker or two as you're able to afford.

Most of the house we have used technology to automate our processes which allows us to out source our entire system.

Each unit in teh building has their own master water shutoff valve, so I can't imagine it will be that difficult to get some hardware + automated billing system through someone.

It’s a work in progress but I think it will pay off when its time to automate.
