(I mean Special Financing Company)...Since REI Hame Changers has chosen to associate themselves with such a s***** business, I would never touch them with a 10-ft pole...On Monday , January 6, 2025, I am going to open up a huge can of whup *** on these people...First I will file fraud charges at my bank to stop any further payments .Then I will personally drive to Missouri if I have to to get my money back.They ( REI and special financing company)will then be charged for everything to do with that trip-Plus I will sue them for the substantial lost wages because I have to deal with this-!!

Try networking locally with real estate groups, investor groups, rental owner associations, a local REI, etc. 

@John Slater - So you knowingly associate with James Piccolo, whom the Arizona Corporation Commission fined $6 million dollars in restitution and fines for defrauding 105 investors with unregistered deed of trust investments?

Welcome @Bree JimenezI suggest looking into the North Carolina Real Estate Investors Association (NCREIA).

At the moment with 3 rentals (6 total units), I have one account and a credit card associated with it.

A great way to start is by attending RE events and joining a local investors association.

@John Friendas Without knowing the expenses and costs associated with it I can’t make an educated judgement.

I specifically want to call out one of their Senior Accounts Associate, Charlotte Cunningham, who helped me through the process on my first purchase as I needed to buy a sizable amount of furniture quickly and she was able to help me make moves quickly...and didn't make me feel bad whatsoever when I pulled back a few items at the last minute I was able to find them cheaper elsewhere.
