Am I correct in my understanding that after the house is built and a CO is issued, we can work with a traditional bank/lender to get the new home appraised and take out a traditional mortgage on the home for XX amount (the amount owed to HELOC and hard money lender)?

You can use a co-borrower just make sure they have good credit and a (2) year work history of W2 income.Try and avoid self employed co-borrowers because their tax returns typically do not show income and are full of deductions.

The nightly rate Airdna provides can typically be viewed as a cumulative average throughout the year but slow season will be lower and peak season will be higher.If this is your first short term rental property, I recommend looking into a PMS system and dynamic pricing tool like Pricelabs, or consider looking for a co-host to help you manage most, if not all of it.Hope this helps!

It would be stupid to do it and then tell the inspectors when you go to get a CO or fire cert when you sell about the 4th amendment.There are only jobs that require permits and jobs that don't.

Hi Brandon, not sure if it's the same in Texas, but in California a big part of the definition of a property manager vs a co-host is that a property manager creates lease agreements with their name as the landlord and collects rent from tenants.
