I currently work in the Recreational Marijuana industry full time and work part time for a general contractor.

Hi Mary,(1)  Maybe your exterior lighting (parking lot, building flood lights, and walkways) are on one meter for both buildings. (2)  Maybe the bills are not manual meter reads, but just estimates, with reads done once every two years.(3)  Maybe a resident has tied into the CAM electric and set up an illegal marijuana grow operation in the attic.(4)  Maybe your some of your exterior lights are stuck on during daylight hours.(5)  Maybe the buildings have different types of exterior lighting. 

Your market has SKYROCKETED over the last 5-7 years because marijuana laws, lower taxes, and outdoor experience.

Besides the fact marijuana is illegal, I have a strict no smoking policy anywhere on the property.

Are tenants blasting music from open windows, do you smell a lot of "medicinal" marijuana, does it seem well lit.Asking management: How long have you worked here? 

Hello everyone- I thought I found a great tenant but my upstairs neighbors have complained that the tenant’s guest smokes cigarettes and marijuana in the patio and the smoke drifts up into their unit.

Even if they have a marijuana/medically necessary card, that does not mean they can smoke inside because it is not federally legal.

I tried to reason with them but they refused to pay the rent, to kick out the extra people, and also refused to leave the apartment.The tenants started to have fights which damaged the property, parties, smoking marijuana inside the home and in front of the house, and getting into altercations with my neighbors.

They are loud at all hours, smoke indoors, do not pick up dog poop, use marijuana and other drugs in home.
