I have experience with dry way and paint as well as kitchen remodeling which seemed to be the priciest when talking to the contractor.That being said, would the Arv be affected due to minimizing labor and material cost?

At a minimum, it needs to stay dry, which means getting any standing water out (sump pump and french drain), ventilation (moving air will dry out excess humidity), and a vapor barrier over the soil.
