I am all about positive encouragement, but cheering someone on when they are not ready can actually be dangerous.On the flip side, I have seen new investors complain that more experienced investors are negative and their mindset is antiquated.

In addition to checking for antiquated wiring and plumbing, also check for signs of asbestos. 

They seemed to like it, but I didn't find it very user friendly and almost antiquated.

Also I work a full-time job so I don’t have time to drive all over the place to buy things at antique stores, estate sales, etc.Is there a way to finance the furnishings over 10 years (at a low reasonable rate) or something so I only have to spend $30-40k in cash for house downpayment up front instead of $60-80k in cash up front for house downpayment AND furnishings?

Believe this is antiquated notion that stems from the "early to bed, early to rise" sort of philosophy from generations ago.
