The filming industry is picking up too - all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies were filmed there, and there is always some TV show filming as well.

Hopefully we'll have done well in these investments and have a good story to tell then, maybe from a beach in the Caribbean somewhere.

Ideally this person would also be able to assist in managing the project itself" Sounds to me that what you are looking for is an active partner "contractor" that will do all the thinking and work wile you collect the big fat checks at the Caribbean sipping on fruity drinks.
