My handyman and roofer both gave me bids the same day.

He's a roofer with the city of Philly and has a crew that works on most projects I believe, except major plumbing or electric where a permit is required.  

You don't need to be a roofer to tell if a roof is in decent shape or is going to need to be replaced. 

I just had a roofer check a leak back there and the roof doesn't have the proper pitch to drain water...it's essentially flat and the house is a Cape Cod so water has made a mess of things over the years.

We talked to the roofer who inspected it previous to the sale and he will not budge or give us compensation.

Hey folks,Recently acquired a 4 unit multi-family property in Signal Hill.Very exciting and have been doing minor improvements myself here and there, however, there are of course some things I know I'm going to want a professional to address soon.As well as planning for the future in regards to having someone dependable I can call for times when an issue arises and I am not nearby or even in the state.Looking to you fine people for recommendations for local contractors: plumbers, electricians, handymen, and roofers.

If a contractor, he would be the one to pull the permit (at least my roofer does).

For instance, I might get a roofer's eyes on the roof situation but not bother too much about the toilet just yet.To be sure I understand, court for December rent has just happened, but the courts aren't forcing her out until Feb, right?

Recently I had a roofer tell me he no longer does that type of installation for a flat roof; when I asked why, he said he could not find liability insurance that would cover that specific type of installation so he now does EPDM for flat roofs.

Roofer says we need a whole new roof.
