Yes, read up on "reasonable accommodation" for disability, as if he has a disability and the family is returning the unit to former condition and he hasn't actually harmed anyone, you could be getting yourself in some hot water trying to evict, especially if you cannot prove he did the damage.

She's a true gem.I can guarantee with absolute certainty that my animal will not harm a property and I can also guarantee that if I did not inform the landlord that I had a dog (which I would never lie about) that he or she would never, ever know a dog had been in their home because she's not disgusting and doesn't damage anything, ever.

If I underestimated my basis calculation, not much harm was done (I hope/think).My understanding is the basis I used for depreciation will be different than my adjusted basis on form 8824, since the later will include land?
