If not and I will need to have my brothers heirs sign anything then it might not be possible since one of my nephews was last known to be a bum living at a beach in Hawaii somewhere.The value of the land is probably worth less than 10k.I believe it could be buildable but it is off the grid so it might not be that desirable and I would not want to travel there from California to build.

We're now working on our first flip, and are planning to sell our current home once renovations are done, and move into a small multi-family closer to my day-job in New Orleans.We'd love to connect with other investors in both the Mobile and New Orleans area, or really anywhere (we like to travel) and continue to grow in the REI field.

I haven't had a car since 2006 (my husband needs one for work so we have a car but I only use it to get groceries) It is just a matter on convenience - we both work full time jobs, we both travel for work (I spent 11 hours in an airport yesterday) and we do this on the side.We do not get calls often (once a quarter) but our properties are a 10 minute drive so when the tenant calls at 9pm we can shoot over there quickly and still be up for work at 6am.

My ultimate goal is to continue to build my REI business and holdings so I no longer have to trade as much time for dollars as I do now and be able to enjoy spending time with my family and doing the things I enjoy most such as travel.

If you don't have someone to manage the project, don't forget to factor in your travel costs.I'm sure there are other things I'm forgetting, but you should now have an idea of how to evaluate the deal if you can figure out your numbers.
