It also depends on soil, slope, work condition, stamping or not, sealed or not, thickness, etc. $5/sf is the most basic and flat work up to a slope of 5%.

The problem was that the area in question was so thick with vegetation it was impossible to determine the property lines even in the winter (except he knew were they were and not me right?).

I have been in construction that worked on various projects but it was around Dallas, Texas where things differently done and only has about 3 or 4 inch thick sidewalks and the city usually do the walks out front where they own the property instead of you.I like the concrete idea underneath because any stuff you use on top will show.

Years ago I was doing a flip in Seattle and there was a house down the street that was boarded up but I could look through the boards and I saw old sheetrock, some deteriorating plywood and some scraps laying around some saw horses and a thick layer of dust.

Heres a spot I kinda missed on the ceiling , you can see the yellow tar/nicotene stains , and I can tell you truthfully, I PUT IT ON THICK so i only had to do the ceiling once..

Basically he advises putting a second thick layer of drywall on the ceiling with some special acoustic sealant in between.
