Hello, i came across this site about a week ago interested in Real estate, coasting through the forums and searching for material that could help me gain some knowledge or give me a head start in the right direction.I came across a motivational thread on books, so i went to borders, bought rich dad poor dad - Read that book in about 3 days ( very inspiring and a eye opener ) i am currently reading Think and Grow Rich, by N.Hill and re authored for the 21 century, interesting but a motivational book at best, after this book id like to read some books that i can actually get some hard knowledge on the subject, im just not sure how to start, where to begin to read?

Jon, you have to be in this business.The second you loosen your grip or release some line, you get taken for a ride (an unenjoyable one at that)There is ALWAYS the deal of the century next time.Who knows, this one could fall through and you could be first in line.

that is the return.. let your tenant pay your house off EVERYTHING ELSE is the BONUS.so for those that bought in the Bay area this turned out to be one of the biggest wealth generators of the 20th century hands down.you bought a home in Cupertino or Palo Alto or any silicon valley Penninsula location in those days and let the tenant pay it off your sitting on 1.5 to 3 million in cash today  CASH EQUITY that is real.. in some Markets you just paid off a home and it never went up might have gone down.. think Detroit  Rochester other rust belt areas.so it depends..
