I think networking falls into that bucket, because the results of networking don't turn into tangible results for possibly months or years.Personally, I try to get to 2 local events per month and then reach out to people I've met at those events on a regular basis.

Rather than throw all Turnkey companies in the same bucket of swamp water, you should give some good advice...how about this...Ariella, you're really going to need an excellent team on the ground working with you on a daily/weekly basis to setup you property and manage it over the long term.

like in your case going to the library and DIY study and learning.Seems to me some people that would spend 3k to get going , get materials and motivation that could be worth it to them.. 3k in the big picture of real estate ( take your 2 mil portfolio) is a drop in the bucket.

While you might be amazed at the amount of paint, wood, tools, buckets, supplies, ladders and tile you can get into a VW Jetta, I really do need something a bit more sturdy.
