New Public Schools.To replace the aging ones.Cafeteria space is already there, bathrooms already there.Easily patrolled (because many American Schools need a police presence).Gates can be slammed down over entrances to help with the needed lock downs.Lots of parking, and probably a lot of room for growth.Plus they are pretty inside.J Crew could be 7th grade, and JC Penny could be 10th grade, etc...Tear up part of the blacktop and put in a Football and etc...field(s).And kids like to go to malls!

I would not feel comfortable househacking in a single home/townhome if it does not have a separate entrance for the tenant, so the house hacking option is very limited.Here are my options that I think can work out, but looking for advice:1) Get a small Single Family / Condo / Townhome around 350K in a good neighborhood ( good schools) for my own living and thereby saving rent and after 2 - 4 years use it for rental.2) Is Condo Investment a good option in good neighborhoods ( Norwood, Canton, Sharon, Hopkinton, etc ) --> I can get a condo and use it for rental.

Assuming there is demand, I would discuss with county and local fire marshals, city planning admin, county engineering, county floodplain, zoning.... how are you getting utilities, are there impact fees associated with them (water / sewer / electricity), assuming it's a state owned road you are on, you will have to get a permit from them as well (Ask your civil engineering company about this), Do you have a survey, does it have topo, what are your setbacks from the road, if it's a large road it may be significant if there is expansion planned, Does it have the required ingress / egress for emergency vehicles (ie. min road widths and entrances), does it have appropriate water supply for the latest fire codes (ask your civil engineering company for references to fire engineers or if they have somebody in staff that can help), where do you need fire hydrants and are sprinklers required, are there any easements currently- will you need to grant any for utilities...
