It's tough to get good deals at the suites like Embassy, Homewood, etc (you can't beat free breakfast, free dinner and drinks 4 days a week, and a full fridge and hot plate in the room) but all other properties seem pretty empty to me.

From calculations of actually just taking a loan out on the 100k purchase price and paying the building Loan, we actually come out ahead with purchasing.We spoke over dinner and she is completely set on buying this property.

I find myself, on even day to day purchases/activities, saying to myself "if I save this much money today by not buying new gym shoes or not going out for dinner then I can put that back for the next rental".

No one wants to look out of their front window while cooking dinner and see a deteriorated house immediately across the street.

Probably the only possible excuse there is.However, this is a great excersize, it still doesn't excuse any issues that come up as far as damage and smells, etc.And thanks to JR T. for the advice on changing our lease...in fact had that discussion last night at dinner.
