There are countless ways to get started in RE investing and so many variables involved depending on your location, market, situation, finances, past experiences, support network, etc.Foreclosed/auction homes are generally going to be cash buys and competing against seasoned investors with ample cash at hand.

I have looked at countless houses and comparable rentals in Burleson.

BUT since you've done your research, talked with fellow investors, & run the numbers (countless times I'm sure) - you'll notice it's actually not THAT big of an investment because you are prepared for the managing of it, financially, professionally, & personally.Good luck!

Also the countless times you get calls about minor maintenance, noise, smells and other miscellaneous things that would normally require you to drive to the property to handle.

So in the end, I spent over a year building 2 houses on the spokane river with countless hours driving back and forth checking on things and working on the property and did not make one cent.
