Do you have a good lease, accounting software, intention to inspect the unit twice a year or more, online payment system (you'll want this since you travel alot), screening criteria, and ability to implement all of your policies and deal with tenant issues along with showings associated with vacancy?

I wonder if there's a way I could leverage from software dev skills to help analyze the parcel list and refine prospective parcels?

I do plan on going to ACH with Appfolio but I'm still new to the software and perfecting the tenant payments by ACH first.

Since I just got my hands on expired listings, I have put all the addresses together on my pad and will hit the streets in a couple of days, but I'd like to know if there's a software (free) I can use to put all these addresses (gps) and auto arrange all the addresses by distance so I can drive from point a, to point b, to point c, etc.

You could also CLEP out of some courses fairly easily or get computer certifications fairly easily using brain dump software.

ESRI offers many free or inexpensive online classes on their ArcGIS software and I'm sure there are CAD/drafting classes at a local college.
