The old stuff looks clean and not dreadful, and is in neutral colors, but isn't that nice (e.g. the cabinets are kind of rickety and the DW/fridge don't really fit all that well into the space made for them, the floors aren't missing pieces, but also are a bit uneven in places).

This can be as simple as having a 2x4, a saw, and some nails or screws handy, and as complex as taking the drywall or whatever off of the inside wall so you can re-do a lot of the frame.If it's just you working on it, you might think about having a piece of plywood, a couple of 2x4s, and some real long carriage bolts available.

Deductible SEP-IRA contributions are distinct from depreciation - while depreciation represents "paper losses," SEP-IRA contributions represent real changes to to your business and personal cash-flow; the money contributed to a SEP are real dollars that can only be used by the SEP.

But I can't fathom any way of securing certainty that said buyer would not be outbidded by someone else, at which point the opportunity of course would be gone.I've looked into a few other approaches, such as Short Payoff, and about to seriously look into bankruptcy.My Goal:Structure a deal that would allow me to comfortably situate my mother, and launch my own investment profile.This is a very hot neighborhood, and most of the brokers and investors I've been talking to keep PROMISING that this would be a piece of cake.
