Usually, higher end neighborhoods are not interested in ADU's, as most buyers are wealthy enough to buy regular homes, plus they want the privacy.

small cost to accommodate,, put regular door knob on the master bedroom no need for privacy or locking knob on any bedroom doors, those are reserved for bathrooms only. storm door depending on what type of lock it is, I would try and have a non locking door, you could probably just remove the cylinder, all that door needs is to be able to be kept shut, it's not a entry door.
