@Elmer Bonilla You can find solid deals in all 3 markets, but Columbus behaves more like Austin TX than a city in Ohio...the city has one of the strongest financial positions in the nation right now with AAA bond ratings and rainy day funds maxed...with a windfall of tax revenue...all during COVID-19.

Hi all,I found a medical office space in Laurel, MD; 6 units with1500 square feet each unit; I will be using 3500 square feet for medical/dental practice; planning to rent remaining 5500sft;a) few buildings away there is new university medical office building being built and will be ready by october 2021; they have 50 spaces available and will be having medical practice obviously (similar to my practice); Is it bad idea to buy this property?

It is hard to know whether subsequent recessions will behave like past recessions, but I can say with a lot of confidence that STRs are not recession resistant (even in drive to locations) and in my market they were more impacted by the GR than LTRs (which had very little impact in my market due to so much housing sitting empty - rents stayed the same and vacancy rates did not increase in the San Diego market).
