This is a type of HUD payment where the voucher is connected to the property instead of the tenant.

Housing Authority put property on Abatement December 2015 due to failed inspection (Carpet Pulling up) but kept paying the Section 8 Voucher to my property manager.  

Some areas have a large waiting list of applicants and are currently giving out vouchers, and some areas/departments have eaten through their surplus right into a huge budget deficit (my area) and are no longer giving out vouchers.

The current owners is taking people from the homeless shelter and putting them in the building with county welfare vouchers all utilities included at $450.

Part of the reason for the ones I'm involved in is the fact that there are vouchers approved for guaranteed tenancy and another is when some of the multi-use properties have additional income streams (cell towers, laundry, etc.)

It is supposed to rent to voucher tenants for $2200.

Then you have cities like NY, where rent is $2000 a month and mortgages are $4000 - so I think there will definitely be an increase in renters but the rent is so high that there will be a decrease in cash flow outside of government voucher programs.

I let the tenant know they have until Friday and if they are evicted they will lose their section 8 voucher.  

So one of my tenants are soon as she is getting a voucher for new housing and has asked me if she can break her lease.
