Lots of elderly people in the Ocala area (Villages and Top of The World) and when they pass, the heirs just get rid of everything for whatever they can get.

Creating living spaces for elderly parents needing close care yet respectful personal spaces, or college age children looking for a better investment than a dorm that they can later resell and invest the profit into their chosen life path, is more beneficial than dumping cash into a third party space like a retirement home, or off campus apartment.

Owner's in-town elderly parent requires care so owner moves into 1 of the units to care for the parent.

Currently my brother rents to a student, for there are three colleges in the area, and he also rents to an elderly lady.

An example is when an elderly parent adds a child to title, or a couple that is divorced removing the person who moved out from title.

I think at one point they paid to have the entire roof of the full duplex replaced, because the other owner was elderly and had no cash to participate.  

Here is how the two houses/locations compare:Southshore Bay, Wimauma, FL vs Epperson, Wesley Chapel, FL- Both communities seem very family friendly, large lagoons in both with children and their families (+ middle-aged seen alone, didn't really notice any elderly) - Wimauma is much more centralized located between Tampa and Bradenton, which means residents could be commuters to cities of Tampa, St.

Maybe one with elder abuse experience.
