Regarding the roomate situation, my agent told me the insurance will likely cover the property damage caused by the roomate,but if he got injured due to my liability, that won’t be insured.

The insurance company is going to rebuild all the units due to the amount of damage, but there has been some hold ups with the county due to permitting, changes in codes and such that has delayed the rebuild process greatly.

Hey everyone, looking for advice.We have owned a condo (3/2) for 10+ years and the market is now favorable for selling.We have had two full price offers both of which terminated during due diligence due to subtle structural damage, moisture, and rusting on the old cast iron pipes under the common building.

I raised all kinds of hell, the renewal hadn't been signed yet,  gave her the money back and videotaped her taking it as well as signing a receipt,  the police had to get involved to get her to move on her last day,  we gave her all of her deposit back despite about $250 in damages.
