The last apartment complex I lived in seemed to encourage them.

@Zee D.I'm not aware of a specific law in Arizona, but you need to read the CC&Rs for your complex.

For that reason, they only pencil for loans of 3M and more (which fits your big complex, but not your small.)Fannie also has a small balance loan for your smaller deal, and I believe they can do longer terms.I have a company that i've talked to about both.

Plus, my complex had 4 pools, 4 hot tubs, a gym/sauna, and security onsite that kept and held packages. 

Wow.I've been seeing some apartment complexes going up around the northwest sector.

I believe LandlordLocks are UltraMax cores ... keyway is compatible with Kwickset (and some Weiser locks), but is not compatible with Schlage, Yale or {obviously} Abloy.Though LandlordLocks is not presently a cost effective option for us here in Canada, I like them for apartment complexes with interior corridors - the bigger the building, the more they can reduce costs and ease turnover.
