Thanks about the floors, we did the floors too and I chose the dark stain to match the orange.When we did the floors, we made the mistake of sanding too much off, should have left a little more wood to make it look rustic.

Things are starting to add up here, I see mystery brownish stain on one wall in Room 1...

In the hallway approaching the unit I saw a fire sprinkler valve cover on the ceiling, at some point it had leaked and rust colored water stained the ceiling and walls, nice!   

Sheets and comforters can get stained.

I prefer wood with white cabinets, tile with wood stained cabinets.

She was not at home so I don't know if she actually saw water dripping or it is a stain (we don't know how it stained) on the ceiling??

The subject property's "bonus" room over the garage was likely completed without a permit, has water damage stains on the ceiling's sheetrock, has a trip hazard immediately after entering the room (has a 6" blind step") and likely will have to be redone.

This will help to keep it cleaner and less stains.
