Of course, they have other reasons to invest in California than you have but it is still quite interesting to see how the sentiment is so different there in California compared to what we see here in China.

I guess I'm experiencing the sentiment I often see -- that agents are averse to investors.

While I agree with the general sentiment that cash is king and you should make sure that you have cash flowing properties, not paying attention to the cap rate when you buy and overpaying can cost you dearly in a market down cycle if you want to sell or need to sell when a note comes due.

I know its not popular on BP  as BP sentiment is  " hey  you can learn all you need here on this site for free) and or join a REIA but remember REIA are for profit now a days nothing its free there,  but there is a limit to what you can learn on line.. sitting on your computer listening to podcast or reading threads is just not he same as being in room with 400 people that are networking.  

Will - You echo my sentiments on senior housing completely.  

The same one's that say "...its nothing personal, it's just business"I frequently feel those sentiments towards many people in our society, but, not little old ladies!!

But it's also understandable if you didn't want to rent out a place that has significant sentimental value for you.  

however there is that sentiment that rentals will set you free no doubt
