I suspect Doug’s reference to the harassment over the cut branch was related to the proximity to the power lines.i had an oak where the roots were starting to impact the foundation of the property.

It could be a restriction in that main line that accumulated debris over time, such as roots or collapsing tile, from all of the units connected to it.Regardless, I agree that you should have your insurance people dealing with your unit, along with the Renter's insurance to deal with their own personal property.

Tree services, they’re all over but the key is to make sure they’re insured, they handle stump AND Root work (if need be), and will haul off debris instead of leaving it for the city.

Makes sense right, that a $7kmnth rent is via say Cargill who is bringing in contract talent from Spain and want's to give them a great experience to, ideally, achieve a longer term working relationship, getting them "rooted" in an area.
