With Airbnb and shared rooms, my market won’t support security deposits and cleaning fees.

Did you factor in Management fees (it will be more for a vacation rental), cleaning services etc or are you planning to have family and friends help you manage from OOS?

The DSM Metro does a nice job of keeping clean and hosting multiple "touristy" events annually... for which the locals EAT UP.   

I'm also wondering what its going to cost me to clean out a home I recently foreclosed on.

My version of cash for keys is, "If you are out by xx day and the unit is left clean, I will drop the eviction suit and will not sue you in small claims court or report you to the credit agencies."

I was really looking into Cozy because their site seems clean and intuitive.

We cleaned out the tenants, evicted the maintenance guy & $25k later in rehab it's now a legal 6-plex that's rarely vacant except for the usual tenant transition.Good luck but think it through!!!

My concern is in getting a clean title free of liens.

It's clean, walls are open, no one is living in the house to complain about the mess or the time it's taking, etc.

Booking reservations, managing cleanings, maintenance, etc?
