I have a few connections with general contractors and painters so the plan is to do some work and put it back on the market within 3-5 months.

For me, it's well worth the risk to hire an interior painter without insurance; it's well worth the risk to hire a plumber without insurance; it's well worth the risk to hire a tile guy without insurance.  

I've done both ways - business casual and homeless painter plumber- and it hasn't mattered.

As an example, I was talking to a painter today regarding a "general price" to paint the interior of 1800sf house (ceilings walls casings doors moldings and baseboards).  

I would go over it with my painter- some gigs they appreciated not having to protect the floors, then return visit after floors and trim was in to just do the missing trim.  

Can anyone help me connect with a good drywall + painter contractor in Cincinnati?

All of these can factor into a painters estimate.

My painter was washing his brushes on the second floor using a sink that's not been used for over 10 years.
