I also suggest a drive-by so they are not unpleasantly surprised by the neighborhood when they to the showing, and just keep on driving by anonymously as I wait outside.

One of the BP members mentioned creating an LLC and PO Box to preserve anonymity - that's a good idea too in that it insulates you from any unwanted visitors.

Both my CPA and attorney have suggested that for real estate on your own (ie not a partnership) that single member LLC's don't do you a ton of good -- although you are able to anonymize ownership by using a registered agent if that's important.
