Maybe even plan for a stove with the display low on the front instead of sicking up on the back so the window can stay as large as possible?

The price was half of what others I had seen, but the apt itself was a carryover from the 70's when it was built, garrish wallpaper in many patterns graced the walls, and faded peach carpeting..having lived in contemporary interiors, my own designs I couldn't bear to look at this mess, there were other people coming in and running out once they had seen it as well.But I thought now with some wall paper removal and white paint the space could be opened up.

Just curious here...I know wallpaper is very subjective. 

The bake or broil lights were not on and the clock was still on the display no temp. this is not the top burners but the oven.  

The local news was on and some police action was being displayed.

In your spare time if you try hard enough you can find a builder mistake, warehouse display, store display or flat out used kitchen. you would be shocked as to what a well off person throws in the dumpster cause the wife wants a new kitchen.
