That said, I like to think I am ready for the blood match that you describe, and appreciate your honest portrayal of RE.

My pipe appeared to be of contractor grade meaning it was thinner not sure why licensed plumber did such poor job as all both units are considered high end. 

Especially with blood in the water...

This gives the tube more surface area to transfer heat but it also causes portions of the tubing to become thinner.

Paint thinner and scrubbing, and it looks good as new.

The scheme only works if there is new blood putting their life savings into the system.
