So now I'm faced with the potential of loosing EVERYTHING job, house, car, wife...Finally I stopped focusing on what was wrong and focused on the solutions. 

My goal used to be to get to 100 properties but I realized that was the wrong goal.

Nothing wrong with guessing.

You may find that you are looking at the wrong properties...or that you are looking at the right ones...or you switch strategies.

If he truly felt like I had wronged him, he must follow the proper channels. 

@Dennis McNeely - my concern with getting a soils study is if it shows there's something really wrong with the soil, such as expansive soil, I would have to disclose that fact when I go to sell the property.
