If OP has not already tried calling every we buy houses ad in the area, they should also do that. 3 days is very limiting though - no time to waste. 

Doing this will open your eyes to how people waste space in real estate today.  

However the thermostat is mounted  to the wall a few feet from the front door in a highly accessed retail store where the door is constantly opened.

They are far more common now and harder to find models without but:1) these add cost to the purchase price2) they don't bring a lot of value3) they can leak or detach and damage the propertyI own around 50 doors and I cap off the line at the wall or in the basement with a valve and a cap so the potential for leaks is 0.00001% :-) 

By wasting it on the DP you tie that money up for years.

Also, wholesale deals off of the MLS are typically a waste of time for all parties. 

If you don't get out there, you have wasted the entry fee.[3] You have to have or make time to show up. 

Don't waste your time with an unwinable case.

For example, the 2nd to last photo of a random wall and floor with part of open door; what is that supposed to be telling?
