Had a sewer company snake out line at my rental home.  2 weeks later drains backed up again and had another company look at it.  

I mean, if you have a snake nest falling through the ceiling like @Nathan G. posted today, you might want to get that taken care of : )  Otherwise, if there are no signs of pests or termites there is no obligation to do so. 

I was immediately curious as to how they could have a rat problem with so many snakes in the home.

Knowing the location of the home, if it has a basement etc...would be helpful but snaking companies (may be the plumbers, maybe not), HVAC, general handymen/women, locksmith. 

I do everything myself (except run a sewer snake).  3M talent. 

A facetime video will not tell you if it needs a new septic system or HVAC, or if there is a snake den on property that needs dealing with.
