@Kathy HacmacI don't allow any sort of painting.I've put together my apartments so that all the walls will need is a quick washdown with TSP, hole and crack repair, some touch-up primer (maybe), and another coat of colormatched Glidden Premium to come back to where they were before I rented out the place.The brick duplex that I'm currently renovating was custom-built in 1923 for an heiress of a prominent local family in the historic borough of Munhall, PA, just outside the city limits of Pittsburgh.

He slapped up one heavy coat of mud without even feathering out or sanding. 

Yep don't know how to sugar coat that one.They're wrong.  

It is pretty nasty inside but nothing a good cleaning lady and coat of paint can't fix.

The coils need to be replaced with aluminum or copper that has been coated.

It is simply a vapor, and should dissipate into the air without residual coating.

A small house just came on the market that sold 2 MONTHS ago for 120k less, they now put it back on the market after what looks like a coat of paint, no major repairs and are asking double the price per square foot (or more) over anything comparable.

And, I'll say this as constructively as I can - if you wish to someday be a landlord, you need to have thicker skin.

I'd like to get a heavy duty version but can't find one.Maybe I'll coat the pipes with Vasoline to keep bugs out.
