I think I can open another personal checking account at the bank I already have and it'll be under my name but i'm trying to buy out of state rentals with an LLC I own.

The advantage with the bank was minimal closing costs, a good interest rate, and a draw system so I could get funding as I completed each rental unit.

Now this depends on how much you want to raise, if its $1M yeah that can be done, if you go above $5M you are gonna need to spend money and I would assume someone starting out 10% of that amount to get there.
