There will be rioting in the streets daily and you'll need gold, guns, and food stocks..This to say: I don't think the US economy is going in the toilet anytime soon.

Should I remove this tree?
10 February 2020 | 18 replies
@Nam TrangThe inspectorI don’t think there is a negative to removing it.If you are doing a long term rental, it will drop leaves on gutters and roof retaining moisture, causing mildew, and clogs, eventually riots will become and issue, although with a crawl space foundation, that’s probably easier to live with/work with.If you are doing a flip, it looks awful and future owner will be worried about the above.

Any opinions on Hawthorne, CA as a potential up-and-coming area?

As a former resident my advice is DON'T Do it, but if you must opt for property as close as possible to the police department and fire department.it appears nice but it is still inner city neighborhood, only descent neighboring City is El Segundo otherwise you have Watts, Inglewood, Compton, Lennox and Lawndale, school system is independent run by centinella SD not la unified, police department is also independent the only county thing is fire department it's Los Angeles county fire, children pass through metal detectors to go to school, crime is high but again it's inner city neighborhood, it's been going down hill since 1985 , gang's and drugs, shootings , businesses pulled out of the area, after the riots and the fact that the city lost money investing it poorly into orange county but it is your money not mine do what you want I'm only the son of a former City accountant.

Advice on NW StLouis county/section 8 plz!! : possible purchase
19 July 2019 | 7 replies
Louis has perhaps the worst race relations in the country, the Ferguson riots were not that long ago.On the other hand, the homes do all look good on street view, and I know there are investors out there who have learned to successfully play the Section 8 game and get better returns than buying higher grade properties at the low cap rates available these days. What is your specific and general advice to do my DD on this, especially if you know the area?
