I love this model as an operator, but for what it’s worth, we’ve looked into purchasing campgrounds with this setup before and it gets very messy very quickly.

It’s holding up well through multiple tenants and looks better after a couple of years than carpet.

Remember for some items, there is a lifespan (eg carpet). 

This is because once there is a 2nd lien heloc, they will need to subordinate to a refinance of the 1st lien, and sometimes that can be a messy experience, depending on the heloc lender and their guidelines.Obviously the cost of refinancing matters too.

Even after stripping out all the soft surfaces (carpet, etc) it still had a strong smell because it seeps into the walls.  

I usually do not buy from big box stores but did just buy a carpet HD had but did NOT buy their pad.

This is for berber carpet.

Who do you use for carpeting, purchase and install?

As much as I love the ease of installing LVP, if home depot is running a free carpet install promo, I'm getting carpet!
