Life is busy with regular work and a few kids, so just looking for any way to maximize our time where we can!

I think it really depends the style and setup.

Wish they would build houses with this style of architecture still.

Really wish we would have learned how to better utilize buying real estate and finance and how life changing it can be.

I'm sure I could go to some midwest markets or even some more depressed markets in my region and get better pricing, but that's out of my wheelhouse at this point in my life as I have no desire to learn new markets when I'm closer to the end than the beginning. .Sure, obvious but over looked.

Big expense up front, additional expenses over the life of the lock, they can be too complicated for renters to figure out, and they don't solve all the problems a landlord may face.

I would pick a market area you like and start doing a bunch of deep dive deal analysis, but from a rental and not a life style standpoint.  

Plus I dont think any contract would hold up if a seller wanted out.this goes for unsolicited  yellow letters/ robo calls / robo text style of marketing. 

I am also at a point in my life that I dont want the stress of managing my own properties any more. 

My wife and I are tied to this area due to being in proximity to family and we currently enjoy a farming/hobby farm lifestyle that is a big part of our family culture.
