Check with the local colleges and see if they have a video/media program and see if they will work with you on internship or cheap basis...be they will.

Execution is grades, internship experience, etc.Lending in REI and education are very different.

Before taking the first job or internship you can get, I'd identify a goal and work backwards on how to start.

I was hoping you guys could critique this because most of this im sure is wish washy. but here it goes...Iv begun an internship as an assistant property manager at a section 8 housing complex ( so a little different than normal tenants and processes) however at the end of my 6 months im hoping to know a little more about the realities of PM.

I will look into internships in my area.

Throughout the course of the following school year, I kept up with people around the firm, especially my mentor that had gotten me the internship in the first place, and whose nephew was now playing on my lacrosse team.  

Maybe go for an MBA and do an internship in the meantime.
