The institutional partner might call a large portion of the shots on what is in the Operating Agreement which controls the deal money.I don't know who the Syndicator is, or the personal dynamic between the two of you, but the Syndicator might be a good starting place to ask both of these questions.If you are going to be on the GP side of the deal, you will need to have a good relationship with this person for quite a while, and communication is the cornerstone of a good relationship.Good Luck!
