For your out-of-state BRRRR plan, building a strong local team in St.

It's a lot of work upfront but once the team and systems are established it gets easier and as you get better you can expand to another city. 

Think across the river or highway from the East End, or south/north of downtown in neighborhoods that have easy access to the city and walkable downtown areas.

Hello BP community,I am an out-of-state landlord with a rental property in Bluffton SC.

You state that you have 20% - 25% equity position for safety, but you don't based on the information you gave. 

Fees should be clearly stated in writing, easy to understand, and justifiable.

From what I can see around here it is a landlord friendly state so when you turn your prop into a rental you should do well as long as the numbers are good.Acquisition is all about entry price.

I think will find that out-of-state will be much more operationally challenged than local.
