I believe the code says "if a veteran holds legal title to a property secured by a VA loan but does not possess equitable title, this situation is considered 'not a disposition."

We paid them $2,500.00 in fees (underwriting, inspections, title search and their fees) before closing.

While some lender will allow statements from other countries and will convert to USD, the path of least resistance here is to have your funds already in the US and create a US based entity to vest on title. 

Especially since the title of the clause says "jury waiver", this seems to be in violation of Prohibited Provisions in Residential Leases (CRS § 38-12-801).28.

Because cashing out properties now takes 12 months on title, brrrring has gotten a lot slower for me.
