We have a large lake house in the midwest that attracts multi-family stays from Memorial to Labor Day.  

We did our entire 4/3 2700sqft lake house with stuff from there.

It is near a lake and in a wooded area.

I agree that the fractional vacation rentals should not be viewed as investments -- I see them as a way to own a lake/beach house that you can go do a few weeks out of the year (depending how much ownership % you have). 

Would love to understand pros and cons of being in Nekoosa, Wisconsin Rapids, Lake Arrowhead, Arkdale etc...Appreciate any insight.

During the webinar, someone ask specifically about the failure of the company, he reassured that not withstanding a " black swan event, like the recent pandemic," they should be fine( this is the webinar of 6/11/24), I am not aware of a black swan event occurring. 

Same as @John Underwood, @Diaz Principe Nicolas.I would love to get more off season bookings but there ins't much call for a iced in lake house with a foot of snow on the ground and the lake being frozen over.It is fun to see how many turkeys end up on the deck and to watch if wolves use the frozen lake to move around.
