It's quite a centrally controlled society.

Everyone has different perceptions for B Class and this is mine based off our market in Toledo.1) Mix of investor owned and home owners (Last few years leaning more toward home owners buying)2) Infrastructure supporting tenant and home owner demand (Car manufacturers, ProMedica hospital, Washington Local School District, Toledo University, etc...)3) Homes well kept, yards mowed, none or very few bordered up homes, cars with wheels, pride of ownership, lower crime, no riff raff roaming the streets lol4) All tenants employed and submit rent payments online.

We have social constructs to create, protect and defend a system of society. 

Firstly, I commend you for having this perception at this point in your journey.I would state that at your working age you have considerably more longevity and runway and time for compounding returns. 

If so, stop listening to podcasts and just keep doing what the rest of society does.

I think all of this math makes people's eyes glaze over and they fail to actually read everything... missing the entire point of the conversation.Another great perception was that YES, the usage of a NEGATIVE Cash Flow in my example was to compound the fact that NOT ONLY was it a NEGATIVE Cash Flow BUT it was ZERO Appreciation and you can STILL make over 9%!!

Also people are pretty willing to donate to charities that do good for society and for the community, so raising capital may not be as difficult as you think, once you get going and have a track record.

What may be skewing your perception is your think of Self-Employed persons, say a plumber, electrician etc., who strike out on own as a "business".

I think my overall belief is that at some point, as a country and as individuals, we must start to put public interest and the overall health of a society ahead of individualism and personal preference and personal profit.
