We moved here 4 years ago after traveling the world for a few years and falling in love with the people, wine, and food of this country. 

Of course, I'm not a beer person, but we have some great wines, too!

We were being wined and dined, driven around and shown homes that to an Aussie or a kiwi would be worth 250K to 750K in our markets and being told we could supply them to our clients for 45K or 60K or whatever. 

For me its wine tours apple picking and people wanting to leave a major metropolitan area for a weekend away.

You may want to look at small town and country living in Michigan Wine Country?

I would avoid the wine, too.

I've been in Real Estate for about 15 years first as an appraiser and the last 10 years sourcing deals for large institutional investors and wine-companies building vineyard portfolios. 

So I hired one of my cleaning ladies to make etched wine glasses for them.
