My individual account with Charles Schwab is up over 10% and is invested in the Magnificent 7 stocks (Apple, Microsoft, Google, Tesla, Nvidia, Amazon, Meta).

@Charles Worth Most often, it would only offset other passive income, not ordinary income (W-2), portfolio income (interest, dividends), or CG income from stock sales.

I agree it Charles, @Luke Morris Tamney find a high yielding savings account and put it in there.
