So many cities with new ordinances are saying that if the tenant will not allow the interior inspection to evict them.Please if you invest in the KC metro, become a member of one of the many landlord groups and stay informed because the city councils and advocacy groups are trying very hard to change the way things work and have worked for years.

If the property was converted to multi-family after to adoption of the new UDC, you can request a variance/special exception via the Board of Adjustment or you can request a zoning change, which goes through the Zoning Board and ultimately has to be voted on by the City Council.

So, I think there has to be some motivating forces for the seller to accept and for the selling agent to council that this is a fair offer.
